The location of the hotel is great and beautiful, situated by the sea. It is conveniently close to the whole island, downtown restaurants, and the south coast of England. The rooms are good-sized and the bar area is cozy. The breakfast is fantastic with plenty of choices, very very good.

The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and the breakfast was delicious and served in the restaurant.

Our rooms had a great view. The hotel's location was central, right in the middle of the village. We loved how close it was to the beaches and the southern coast of the island. The hotel is conveniently located near Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Islay, famous for its smoky, peaty whiskeys.

Central location was a plus. The property was close to Port Ellen downtown. The room with jacuzzi bath.

Great location right by the ferry and close to kwintesencja Islay and the beach. Awesome breakfast with lots of food options to choose from.👍

Thoroughly enjoyed my perfectly pleasant stay on a romantic holiday. I had brand-new top-class room with beautiful view and a large comfy bed. The location was magnificent and perfect for restaurants and pub. Located in 5 minutes' walk to the downtown, the staff were very helpful. Also, it was near a port.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were super friendly, always willing to help and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast which was included in our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-stocked with free toiletries. The location was perfect as it was within walking distance to some of the local whiskey distilleries and right by the ferry terminal.

The Islay Hotel is a charming small hotel with superb views and a stunning location close to the center of Port Ellen. The hotel overlooks the bay and offers beautiful vistas of Islay. The family room is high-class and includes amenities such as an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk. The staff is very helpful and made everything very comfortable, especially the waiter who I think was Spanish.
